ALPHA EXPLOSIVES has supplied explosives to customers in the West since 1906. A joint-venture corporation of Dyno Nobel, the largest US manufacturer of explosives, it operates two facilities in California and serves Hawaii.

Recognized as a leader in bulk delivery systems, Anfo and emulsion blasting agents, Alpha maintains a variety of materials sources to insure product delivery to the end user. Trucking of raw material and finished products is provided by Alpha equipment and personnel, and is contracted when needed.

Alpha is currently providing explosives delivery to numerous mines, quarries and construction sites and is staffed by licensed blasters. Alpha conducts regular safety and industry training and is the only explosives company to hold annual explosives safety training seminars in California. These seminars are approved by OSHA and are concluded by OSHA administered exams for new and renewal licenses. Alpha's instructor is MSHA approved and is Alpha’s senior technical representative.
